Terms of use

The rules for using WorkerHub, Pro subscriptions and our websites, in plain language where we can.

1. Agreement

These terms apply to the WorkerHub app, WorkerHub Pro, getworkerhub.com and workerhub.tools (together, "WorkerHub"). "We" and "us" means the developer of WorkerHub, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. By installing or using WorkerHub you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own work records.

2. Estimates, not advice

WorkerHub calculates pay, overtime, taxes, deductions, benefits, hour banks, mileage and convention dates from the information and rules you enter. These are estimates for planning and checking. They are not payroll records and not tax, legal, financial or benefits advice. Your employer's payroll, your union contract, your benefit fund's documents and the relevant government agencies are the source of record. Check anything important with them or a qualified professional before relying on it.

3. Reference tools

The Toolbox includes a level, angle finder, stud finder, measuring calculators, and electrical and rigging reference tables. Phone sensors aren't precision instruments. The reference tables are a convenience summary, not a substitute for the current codes and standards, manufacturer ratings, engineering, inspection or a qualified person on site. Never use WorkerHub as the sole basis for a decision that affects safety, such as loads, rigging or electrical work.

4. Your data

Your records live on your phone and we can't access or recover them. You're responsible for making and keeping backups. If you lose your phone, reset the app or uninstall it without a backup, your data can't be restored by us. See the privacy policy for details.

5. Pro subscriptions and purchases

  • WorkerHub Pro is sold through Google Play as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy, in your local currency, and may change for future purchases or renewals with notice as Google Play requires.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to your Google Play payment method unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Free trial. The yearly plan may start with a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it turns into a paid yearly subscription.
  • Cancelling. Cancel any time in the Google Play Store app (profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions). You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies.
  • Lifetime means for as long as we offer WorkerHub, on the Google account that bought it.
  • Nothing you already have in the free version is taken away if you don't buy Pro or your subscription ends. Pro features stop working, and your records stay on your phone.

6. Promo codes and beta testing

Promo codes are personal, one-time use, have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and may have a redeem-by date. WorkerHub phone codes work only on the phone they were made for. We may cancel codes that were shared, sold or obtained by mistake.

Beta versions are for testing and may contain bugs or change without notice. Keep backups. Beta testers who received lifetime Pro keep it on the Google account or phone it was granted to, as described in the beta invitation.

7. Optional AI

If you turn on AI features, you use your own account and API key with the provider you choose. Your use of that service is between you and the provider, under its terms and pricing, and you're responsible for any charges. AI output can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it.

8. Using WorkerHub

Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify the app except where the law allows it; don't bypass or tamper with purchases, licensing or codes; and don't use WorkerHub to break the law or anyone's rights. Open-source components in the app are covered by their own licenses.

WorkerHub, its name, logo and design belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the app.

9. No warranty

WorkerHub is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost wages, lost benefits, lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of WorkerHub. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for WorkerHub in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Clark County, Nevada, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we'll give notice in the app. Using WorkerHub after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: support@getworkerhub.com.
